Ed Loar Community Band Service Award The Ed Loar award is presented each year to a long-term band member who has demonstrated unusual devotion to the band, and makes significant contributions to the band beyond the normal participation as a musician. The award is named to honor the memory of Ed Loar, a member who truly exemplified community band service. Ed selflessly shared his time, talent, and energy to make the MCCB better.
